Our new Home!

This year we decided to take the plunge and go for a new home. We wanted more space inside and out and found a great lot with a 3/4 acre yard.

September 16th, 2013 Groundbreaking

Our house was spray-painted onto the ground. Woohoo!

There's a hole in the ground! But not a big one. They had to watch the grade of our lot so our basement will be built up instead of down in. You'll see in a bit.

The footings are in! Yay!

Time for the cement! It was cold and rainy so we were a little worried it wouldn't happen. Thankfully the rain waited until it was all done. Notice how high they have the basement?
