A Turkey Family's Thanksgiving

In honor of Thanksgiving, Gavin was assigned to write a story about a turkey family. My favorite was when he tried to say they cooked up a big turkey... I told him that probably wasn't the best idea...  Anyway, here it is!

A Turkey Family’s Thanksgiving.

Once upon a time there was a family who had a turkey Thanksgiving. The little girl’s name was Heidi. The big boy’s name was Bob. The mom’s name was Susie and the dad’s name was Billy. They set up for Thanksgiving and had a big table full of foods like gummy worms, potatoes, and their drink was apple juice.

The boy, Bob, said he was going to make a turkey with apples, sticks for the legs, and toothpicks for the tail feathers. And for the beak he used popcorn.

They all went outside to play in the leaves. All of them went inside to go to bed.
